At the same time, a second car leaves Albuquerque bound for Raton, and it is traveling at 45 miles per hour. In how many hours will the cars meet? how step by step and an answer please.

I thought of the question like this, although it may be slightly nontraditional. Car A travels 55 mph, Car B travels 45 mph, together they can cover 100 mph. 220 / 100 = 2.2 hours. Car A travels (55*2.2) = 121 miles from Alb. and meets car B (45*2.2) = 99 miles from Raton.
