Is interstate 25 from Albuquerque to Denver a good highway to travel?
Is there a lot of mountain range you have to go through?

It is an excellent highway-Very scenic drive. No large mountains. And gets rather flat when you are in Colorado. Can get a lot of snow in the winder months though.

Not able to tell unless you give us the make and model of car/truck/van. My guess would be around $200 round trip.

I don't know if i want to rent a car. can i take a train or a greyhound bus to and from Albuquerque & Santa Fe? any recommendations. thank you. =)

A car is always easiest.I would not take public transportation in Albuquerque.

Take the "Dog". Greyhound Bus will get you there in a Day or so...

You could do Greyhound....but they're getting about $250 for the roundtrip. I wouldn't consider that cheap, especially considering that you'll have to spend 30 miserable hours on a bus. Sometimes people advertise rideshares on Craigslist. Usually people just ask for help with gas money, etc. It might be hard to work that out if you have a specific schedule to keep. Might be safety issues involved too. Renting a car might not cost much more, depending on how long you intend to stay. You can fly on Southwest from Albuquerque to Houston for $107 one way, plus tax. You'd still have to get to Galveston, of course. Good luck.
